Malaysia Personal Bank Account Opening, there are three types of accounts available to foreigners in Malaysia which are Personal Saving Account, Personal Current Account and Combination of a personal savings & current account. These accounts can also be held jointly with a spouse who has the relevant visas and documents. It is not easy to open any of these accounts for foreigner as you'll have to fulfill the following requirement before make any application. 

Criteria for applying Malaysia bank acct:-

1. Malaysia Work Permit Visa

2. Malaysia My Second Home programme (MM2H) Visa

3. Opening company in Malaysia

4. Opening Labuan Company in Malaysia

Applicants must provide the following documents:-

1. Passport applicant (original)

2. Choice of currency accounts

3. For Deposit according bank term & conditions

4. Foreign country’s Credit Card

5. Three months salary-slip in Malaysia (the latest)
