Below
are some of the requirements to be fulfilled in order for an individual to act
as company director of Malaysia Private Limited Company:
i. Must be a natural person.
ii. Minimum aged of 18 and above.
iii. He or she is not a bankrupt and has not been convicted and
imprisoned.
iv. Any person
over the age of 70 cannot be appointed as a director of a public company or its
subsidiaries unless his appointment is approved by at least 75% of shareholders
at general meeting.
